Consulting

Digital Storytelling workshops are run for anyone interested in using digital storytelling as a tool in social work practice.  A digital story is a 3 – 5-minute multi-media film story. This is an experiential workshop in which participants will make their own digital story over the course of the training and share and discuss with the collective group.  Professionals may also use this workshop as a critical reflection process for themselves or as a method of collective action.

Digital Book

Workshops are usually run once a week over the course of a month.  Participants will be required to dedicate some time each day outside of workshop hours to construct their story.  Each participant (or group) will complete a digital story of their own by the end of the training.

The workshops are usually run for 1.5-2 hours each week.  Each week covers a different stage.

Stage 1 Dialogue

Stage 2 Story sharing and building in a group

Stage 3 Story making

Stage 4 Story sharing
